Living and Eating the Mediterranean Way

At Papouli’s Greek Grill, we strongly believe that a Mediterranean lifestyle is one that leads to a longer, healthier and happier life.

What is a Mediterranean Lifestyle?

A Mediterranean lifestyle includes fresh foods, lots of walking, getting vitamin D from the sun and enjoying dinner around the dining table with family. In Mediterranean eating, you eat good fats (replace butter with olive or canola oil) and enjoy plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains. Even red wine is okay in moderation! Combining this type of heart-healthy eating with routine exercise is great for your overall health and well-being. Learn more about Mediterranean eating from Mayo Clinic

Healthy Mediterranean Eating

As part of our Eat Fit to Live program, we want you to know what the healthiest options are. Expert nutritionists from Healthy Dining have carefully analyzed all of our menu items. They look for items with lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, whole grains and unsaturated fats that meet calorie, fat and saturated fat criteria. We have placed our Eat Fit to Live icon on the menus to indicate the healthiest options. Review nutritional information

Of course, we didn’t forget about the kids! In collaboration with Kids Live Well, we have also indicated the healthiest menu items for children. Look for the Kids Live Well logo on our menu for the healthier options!
