I visited you guys for the first time, partly because the sign guy on Basse is awesome! I got two sandwiches take-out that were fantastic. Alyssa accounted for everything on the take-out checklist and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am saving your number in my phone for take-out orders en route to my home in the future.

 

I haven't tried everything on the menu yet but everything that I have tasted was hot and delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich is amazing and hands down the best I've had in the city. So juicy and flavorful and the BUN.... OMG fantastic. The gyros are juicy and tender. Like I said everything was good. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Greek food.

 

Last week my organization had a carry out order for 34 individuals. The staff and operating manager Steven did a fantastic job.

 

I live outside of Houston and was visiting a friend in Schertz for the Fourth of July weekend. She took me to your restaurant for lunch and we had the most awesome Greek burger in pita bread....with fab French fries....what a great lunch I wish you would build some locations in the Houston area, particularly Pasadena, TX. I love your food!

I've worked near the Quarry for almost 10 yrs. You were kind enough to come into our office today and tell us of your new place. We are stockbrokers and rarely get to leave the office for lunch during tax season -- we ordered gyros from you all today and what a TREAT!!! The food was awesome, warm, spicy -- so nice to have a new, delicious and reasonably priced place to eat now. Thanks a million.

 

One a whim, I thought I'd check this place out for lunch and ordered the Traditional Plate with the Gyro meat (beef and lamb) and the kabob of lamb. When the cashier told me that my total as around $15 bucks I was thinking what the heck, but after I got my plate I realized why. It was definitely enough for two people. A huge Greek salad, a1/2 lbs of the two meats that I ordered, a bed of rice and a pita quartered into 4 pieces. The place is pretty slick too. I was super pumped when I saw that they had dinner mints by the soda fountain to get rid of the gyro flavor that does stink for hours after the meal. Staff is really cool as well.

 

We ran into some friends who were also trying Papouli's last Friday. They really enjoyed their dinner, too, along with the attentive service. I miss Greek Town in Chicago and am thrilled to have a healthy, casual, Mediterranean dining option right down the street!

 

I love this location the staff is so sweet, hardworking, and efficient. me and all the gals at my Starbucks love placing group orders and having a yum lunch.

 

We attended the Platinum Top 50 Early Qualifier at the Steel House Lofts downtown last night and enjoyed sampling the different foods from around San Antonio. I have to say that I tried yours last and it was the BEST. We had to look you up to get the menu this morning so we could come for lunch this afternoon. I saw this feedback site and just wanted let you know how wonderful it was. Thank you for participating and look forward to seeing you again.

As usual, the dining experience at your establishment (food-wise) was impeccable. Being a health conscious person I very much enjoy the Mediterranean food your staff prepares and the commitment to excellence in serving delicious meal that is always perfectly seasoned, just the right serving temperature and within a reasonable amount of time.

 

I loved your food. But I had to travel to San Antonio to eat it. Why don't you build one here in Eagle Pass, Tx? It would be the first Greek restaurant here. Great Food!

First of all I want to complement you on the GREAT job all of you are doing. I enjoy visiting whenever I am in town.

 

Tuesday night I had dinner at Papoulis for the first time, and I must say, it was a remarkable experience for me! The food was absolutely delicious, I was greeted upon entering your restaurant, and the gentleman that bussed the table was so courteous and on the ball. In addition, the gentleman behind the counter was so attentive, polite, and didn't look at me funny when I ordered 2 desserts with my large meal. You can count on me being a regular at your restaurant. Thank you for having such an amazing restaurant full of great food and a smiling staff. It's refreshing!

 

It was wonderful to experience a place with such great quality of food! The leg of lamb was fantastic; and the marinade was wonderful. It was nice to get your money's worth with such good quality, because it's very rare to find this anymore. It's refreshing to know that people can take so much pride in the food that they present to the public.

 

Called in an order to go last week. I got to Papoulis in about 7 minutes, sooner than I expected and my order was complete and ready! Not only that but I found a quality checklist on my order, signed by "Sarah". Great idea! I got home and found everything to be as ordered. My wife and I are regular customer of Papouli's and have never had a bad experience there. Thanks for the great food and service.

I took the day off yesterday since my wife had the day off and we thought we'd go to lunch. First we thought of running to the Macaroni Grill since we enjoyed the meal last time we went there. But I remembered there was a Greek Restaurant of some sort in the Forum and suggested we give that a try. I had a Gyro sandwich with Lamb while my wife had the falafel sandwich. Overall we were quite satisfied. I like the rotisserie Lamb meat served in these sandwiches from time I've spent in the Middle East. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you don't scrimp on the meat. Often when I've gotten these Gyros there is just a little meat or instead of lamb you get pork or beef. This was perfect. The lamb meat was not only plentiful but was quite tasty and seemed to be cooked just right. I am not sure what type of sauce was on the sandwich, I could not tell whether it was yogurt or mayonnaise based but it was good. The pita bread tasted very fresh and not stale like one often gets in a gyro sandwich. My wife said that the falafel was good, seasoned just right and that she enjoyed it.

 

Thanks for the great food, our kids (1 and 4 yrs old) even loved it!

Until Papouli's opened, Demo's was my favorite Greek restaurant in SA. Now I am a Papouli's girl all the way. I love their hummus, their falafel sandwich and the diet salad plate with gyro meat. It is good, cheap and fast, but make sure to get there early for lunch because seating is limited and it gets packed quickly.

 

I haven't had Greek food like this since I was at a Greek restaurant in Germany, family owned by Greeks! I love the food here! I eat here as often as possible! Keep up the great work!

 

Did I tell you we went to Papouli's?! My husband, Gary, LOVES it there! The one on 35 is close to his office, so he eats there at least once a week now. We have never met Nick, though. I suspect that he is quite busy, and I think he has two locations, so he is probably not there too often. But it's very good, & I wanted to make sure I let you know! Excellent food. I'm not Greek, but everything, from the table to the scenes painted on the wall, gives me a complete sensation of a mini-Greek vacation. And it doesn't hurt that the cuisine tastes so clean and yummy.

Great service. The manager took care of me and he had a great attitude towards the customers. This is my second time eating at Papoulis and i have greatly enjoyed it both times. I wish there were more locations that I could go to.

I am a new fan of Papouli's! My parents live in San Antonio, and I live in Corpus Christi. When I come visit them, they know it's lunch or dinner at Papouli's! We used to live in Greece, and this is the real thing! Come build in Corpus Christi!!!!!

I've travelled to San Antonio twice this year for business, and I've eaten several times at your restaurant. The food is terrific! I ate there 3 times this past week.

 

This is absolutely the best place to grab a traditional gyro or any other greek meal. It's a smaller restaurant, but the ambiance is definitely warm and welcoming. I recommend this to anyone!

 

I just wanted you to know that the CTEA had our board meeting on Monday at your restaurant and Mike was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! We could NOT have asked for better service. We always love coming for the great Greek food and the atmosphere was just perfect for what we needed. Thanks so much for supporting the CTEA and we look forward to visiting you again.

My family loves this place - the food is always fresh and delicious. I really like the fact I can order a jr size gyro - I can't usually eat the large restaurant portions at most places, so I appreciate being able to order a smaller size. Keep up the great work!

 

Father's Day was our first visit and we went back last night. Loved it! The food was great, the price was nice and the atmosphere wonderful. Do you have any reward program or promotions via e-mail? We'll be back. Any other grills across the country, we have family back in Alabama.

 

I love the veggie pita! I wish there was some more egg plant dishes. Maybe something with a half of a roasted egg plant, covered in tomato sauce, and mozzarella. That would be a great veggie dish with some pita slices.

Thanks for always providing a GREAT, DELICIOUS consistent meal for us. My husband and I have lunch there at least 2-3 times a week and we always LOVE your food, friendly employees and exceptional service! Alex, the general manager, always makes sure we are taken care of and provides excellent personalized service and attention. In fact, our entire staff at Dr. Peters Eye Care now also eats there at least once a week because we have grown to truly enjoy your terrific food and service. We are so blessed to have you in our neighborhood!

Lamb burger - excellent burger continue to make, spices on point very tasty burger.

 

We love the food there, my co workers & I go there at least once a month. The food has always been fresh and good. No complaints

 

Food is always delicious and I have a lot of healthy selections to choose from. In addition to the great food, what brings me there almost every day for lunch is the great staff, the managers are always courteous and the employees from the cashier to the cooks are always great. Every dining experience I had at papoulis has been perfect!

 

My husband and I enjoy dining in as well as doing take out. I just came in today again and the manager Steve is always courteous and helpful as well as the cashier Ashley. On a funny note one of our cats is named after your restaurant as he was a stray that was friendly and came up to us a few years ago while we were dining outside. So thanks again from Dee, Matt & Papouli for the good food & the memories.

 

We have been coming to Papouli's for 6 years. And we have travelled to eat here from San Marcos, Austin, Lubbock and Round Rock. Love you, just wish there were a few more of you.
